The Cookie Recipe That My Entire Family & The Track Team Loved 💯💖

Swig Sugar Cookie CopyCat

Let's begin here by saying that cute guys told me that they loved these cookies so they must actually be pretty good because guys don't talk to me... 😅

Ingredients:

5 1/2 Cup Flour

1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda

1/2 teaspoon Cream of Tartar

1 teaspoon Salt

1 3/4 Cup Sugar

3/4 Cup Powdered Sugar

1 Cup (2 Sticks) Butter

3/4 Cup Veggie Oil

2 Tablespoons Water

2 Eggs

Directions:

-Separate Dry from Wet liquids.

-Cream together Butter, Veggie Oil, Sugars, Water & Eggs.

-Combine Dry ingredients together separately, then slowly in a Kitchen Aid mixer.

-The first 3 steps are very important! I know you just wanna put all the ingredients together in a bowl all at once but if you do that, there is no point in even making these cookies dude.

-Roll about 2 tablespoons of dough in your hand and place 12 dough balls evenly apart or really close to form 1 giant cookie (that's personal preference LOL) on baking sheet greased with butter.

-Important Swig Look-Alike Part: Put some sugar on a plate and use a pint glass with a little bit of water on the bottom to dip in the sugar to flatten the cookies.

-Bake at 350° for 8 minutes. The cookes won't brown visibly so make sure you don't overcook them because they nasty if you over cook them (trust me when I say that I've done that).

*this makes about 2 dozen (24) cookies*(but it can make 2 cookies total if you eat all of the cookie dough)

Frosting Ingredients:

1/2 C Softened butter

4 Oz. Cream Cheese

1/2 tsp Vanilla

3 Tbsp Milk

2C Powdered Sugar

  -Or until desired thickness

-For the frosting you can just put everything together all at once and it'll be fine. So if you are doing this recipe with kids, make the frosting before the cookies and have them mix it for 20 minutes. LOL

Gracie's Fav Chocolate Chip Cookies 🍪

Soooooo You'll eat more dough than the cookies. It's inevitable. Fortunately, I know this from experience. And it makes 3 dozen (36)+ cookies. It's like the purse in Mary Poppins where she just keeps
